This role will be responsible for supporting the Head of Hospitals in tender management, identifying tender opportunities, responsible for the preparation and submission of Hospitals tenders in the UK and management of contracts.

The key focus of this role is to successfully coordinate NHS and other tender submission bids and renewals and to work in partnership with the Head of Hospitals to plan, track and anticipate future NHS and other tenders/contracts.

You'll be managing the data outputs to improve submission results, and deliver reporting on future opportunities, submission progress and outcomes as well as managing the hospital rebate process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor tender portals on a weekly basis & review tender opportunities
  • Support tender preparation and submit tenders according to deadlines
  • Ensure appropriate internal approvals and processes are met for tender submissions, tender awards and contracts
  • Notify wholesales regarding new contracts and price changes and list new products with the wholesalers
  • Monitor stock levels in wholesalers and review inventory levels with Supply Chain
  • Resolve internal & external pricing queries
  • Support the Head of Hospitals with projects and reporting

Experience required:

  • Excellent IT skills must be strong in Excel and Tableau
  • Highly organised with strong planning, organisation and project coordination expertise
  • Strong relationship management skills to be able to successfully collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Solid financial acumen and database management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and data manipulation experience
