Business Intelligence Analyst - Oncology/Neurology - Hertfordshire/Home based

A new opportunity exists for a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide business and field intelligence for the Oncology &/or Neurology Business Group and mature/ local brands for an allocated group of countries including UK & Republic of Ireland.

As such you will be the local point of contact with data providers, with expert knowledge and insight on the data sources available to the business for competitive intelligence and pharmaceutical data management. You will be responsible for incentive scheme management and calculation, and champion for activity reporting and Bl systems for the defined geography.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Generation of national analyses e.g. market trends and SOV analysis
• Run/ check sales & activity reports for the field forces from the central or local systems as necessary.
• Provide business intelligence visualisation platform training and support to required stakeholders, e.g., sales managers
• Provision of Sales Force Effectiveness support for Business Groups through subnational reporting and analysis of all available data
• Calculate in market sales targets for field-based staff based on company budgets for authorisation.
• Provide support for any territory alignment work or data geographic structure changes.
• Calculate incentives in line with signed off schemes for payment authorisation and support the development of incentive schemes as required.
• Handle ad hoc data requests and data queries
• Provision of analyses of the data contained within the CRM system
• Query writing for data extraction from Business Intelligence system for ad hoc queries

The ideal qualifications and experience are:

• Degree/Masters/PhD university degree in Science/ Business/ Computing
• Querying & running reports from Bl & CRM systems, preferably at a cross country level in pharma industry
• Track record of delivering high quality, accurate analytical work to tight deadlines personally and in a team
• Proven ability to work both within a team and independently
• Field force alignment/ structuring
• Understanding of IQVIA sales audit data and other EMEA audit data across required countries
• Understanding of CNS, Neurology & Oncology required therapy areas
• Understanding of analyses and reporting of activity data from CRM systems
