For a well-established global biopharmaceutical company specialising in oncology drug development, with a global experience of commercializing multiple products, as well as the capabilities to enable effective management of lean and agile clinical development programs. The organisation is in a phase of growth and expansion, and as such is looking to reinforce their Business Development capabilities. They are seeking to appoint a CBO to join a dynamic and highly committed management team.
Description: Reporting to the CEO, the role will be highly exposed in terms of key strategic direction; in building the business development function as well as a Business Development organisation internationally, creating a strategic vision that is aligned with the overall strategy of the organisation, yet remaining hands-on and proven as a great ‘deal closer’ for the business. The incumbent will therefore be expected to demonstrate strong logics, structured thinking, clear communication and will bring action plans to completion. Experience in oncology innovative products; small molecules/ ADCs; licencing and initiating and closing deals will be key, with evidence of a deal sheet.
Location: Milan, Italy with flexibility to work remotely/commute in Europe.
