Key Account Manager - Breast Onco-plastic Surgery - East of England
Our client is a niche player in Medical Devices, who have developed a unique service offering for the Breast surgery marketplace, enabling better outcomes for patients and healthcare systems.
Due to strong sales and ambitious growth plans, they require a Key Account Manager at the location shown.
This is a dynamic and developing role which reports to the UK Sales Director and is a vital contributor to the wider Commercial team. This role is responsible for managing and developing their business wide range of customers, internal touchpoints and accountabilities which will require adaptability as their"go to market" strategy rolls out and solution indications broaden.
Key Expectations & Responsibilities:
- Developmental role suitable for someone early in their Med Device sales or clinical career
- Become an expert in the clinical & technical knowledge of breast cancer, the diagnostic procedures and therapies of the treatment pathway
- Educate and support customers in all aspects of product use in line with their required needs both in-person and virtually
- Attend procedures at multiple sites, depending on customer expertise and as required by the Sales teams and clinicians
- Perform high quality, high value product demonstrations and hand-over as required
- In conjunction with Clinical Application Specialists be responsible for the new customer training, evaluations and provide feedback as well as building and maintaining relationships in our market
- Educate physicians (Surgeons, Radiologists, Mammographers, Radiographers and Theatre Staff) on the optimal use and application of our products, ensuring that they're prepared to use them correctly
- Identify and communicate internally, opportunities for business growth
- Attend educational events and tradeshows to collect leads and improve market awareness.
Your suitability for the role will be defined by your:
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry and a preferred knowledge within sales pathway and its processes from either the UK MedTech or Pharmaceutical industry
- Experience within the operating room / theatre environment preferred but not essential
- Able to demonstrate sound business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal skills particularly when communicating with different groups of people
- Creative and inventive problem solver but focussed on quality and good practice
- Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task, work as a team and equally be effective when working autonomously
- High levels of loyalty, integrity, dependability and credibility
